This is my finished double page spread, for the feature article, 'Scarlet Glass'. The font and colour scheme is the same as the house style, white on black, and certain bits to highlight individual items, such as the title with the reflection, work well with the style of the magazine. The big quote, "I'm a bitch. Live with it." was especially picked out to enhance her Rock Chick image, and the audience would appreciate the rough-round-the-edges honesty of it. The language of the actual article, is formal, but done through a chatty style, which perfectly reflects the way in which the interview was undertaken (a formal interview, but was extremely chatty). This is like the interviewer and Scarlet Glass are old friends, chatting away, which again, enhances the idea that this is a special exclusive, with Scarlet Glass being a friend of 'Revolver'.
The picture, feathered to match the reflection of the title, stands out against the black background, telling the audience that she is the one to focus on at the moment, and that she is in the spotlight of today's rock scene. The background shows shards of glass, which ties in with her edgy name, and gives a visual representation of her Rocky, edgy personality.
All in all, I am very happy with how this turned out, after a lot of playing around, I finally found everything I wanted to suit the magazine.
