I have decided to change some of the ideas for my Music Magazine. Firstly, I am going to change the working title of "Pop Incredible" to a fixed title of "Chic". The name 'Chic' comes from the idea of the magazine being 'smart' and 'Chic' is the French word for it, which will appeal to the more mature audience. I am also changing my target audience to mainly women, aged 20-30. Secondary readership is aimed at men aged 20-30. The cost of the Magazine will be £4.00 so people with some disposable income will mostly be buying the magazine, i.e. 20-30 year olds.
The magazine will come out once every quarter, with the main rivals being magazines like Q, Mojo and NME. These magazines are similar in target audience to my particular targeted audience.
I am making these changes because when I came to produce the magazine cover, I felt that the target audience was far too broad, and wanted to change the theme of the magazine so it was slightly more mature.
My main article will include an interview and description of a brand new artist, called "Floretta" and will include pictures and text.
